The city is large, the districts are far apart, and a hotel that looks central on a map can be forty minutes from the attraction the client came for. Choosing between Downtown, Marina, Deira and the beach strip is the whole decision.

Downtown, Marina, Deira and the beach
Downtown puts clients at the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, which is what most first-time visitors want. Marina and JBR suit longer leisure stays with the beach on the doorstep. Deira is the older city, better value and closer to the souks. Jumeirah carries the resort stock.
