Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve Singapore was first opened as a Nature Park in 1993.  It was recognized as a site of international importance for migrated birds and awarded a certificate by Wetlands International.  Denoting the reserve’s conventional entry into the East Asian Australasian Shorebird Site Network.

From that point forward Sungei Buloh has extended to incorporate 202ha of mangroves, mudflats, lakes and woodlands. It gives a considerably bigger sanctuary for the flora and fauna. This incorporates the most up to date expansion that houses a fresh out of the box new Visitor Center. And new path for guests to explore and appreciate. This new augmentation is located along Kranji Way, and is accessible easily by public transport, bringing Sungei Buloh significantly closer to general society.

Throughout the year:

Trek through this ecological jewel’s numerous path and find its local occupants, for example, mudskippers, crabs, shellfish, water snakes, birds, creepy crawlies, monitor reptiles and otters. Respect the excellence of inhabitant winged creatures, for example, herons, kingfishers and sunbirds.

Seasonal from September to March:

During the transitory season, witness the assorted groups of shorebirds or waders including plovers and sandpipers.
