Colours of a nation

Yas Marina Circuit and Yas Island are back for the fourth consecutive year with the one of the biggest National Day celebrations in the region on Sunday. Enjoy free entertainment at the ‘Let Your Colors Go’ event taking place from 2 pm to 9 pm, including BMX tricks, balloon installations and an Emirati kitchen.

Global Village has decorations and celebrations that will brighten up the whole park in the colors of the UAE flag while the pavilions will mark the occasion in their own unique way. Catch the Operetta – ‘Zayed: Leader of the Humans’, that will take place at the Main Stage on December 1, 2 and 3.

Luscious Levantine

Olea, the home of Levantine cuisine, is offering something spectacular this National Day weekend. Discover the flavors of the GCC as they take taste buds on a gastronomic journey from Oman to Kuwait, to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and also the UAE for Dh225 per person.

Fort power

Al Jahili Fort in Al Ain will host a program of celebrations including a theatrical spectacle, which will tell the story of the union of the seven emirates using audio and visual effects especially designed for different age groups. The performance will last for one hour, from 7 pm – 8 pm, and will be presented in both Arabic and English.

Enjoy an array of golfing offers, delight in special dishes from pizza to signature Arabic treats, or relish a day by the pool with family and friends at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

Cascade kids

Artists Al Wasmi and Hazzaa Al Raeesy will be performing at The Flag Island Amphitheatre, Sharjah, on Sunday, December 2, from 8:30 pm to 12:30 am as part of UAE National Day celebrations. Classic cars exhibition, kids activities and culinary delights will be part of the entertainment on the day for families.

Folklore and family

The Outlet Village has roaming entertainment acts, traditional UAE dances Al Ayala and Al-Razfa, and photos with a falcon, the UAE’s national bird. Henna artists will decorate women’s hands with intricate designs representing the UAE’s artistic heritage.

From December 1 to 3, City Walk will witness traditional Emirati Al Ayala and Al Harbiya dance performances that are integral to the UAE’s heritage from 4 pm to 9 pm.
