Ta’ Qali Farmers Market in Malta
The Ta’ Qali farmers market is open on a Tuesday afternoon and on Saturday’s between 10am – 5pm. It is the main market in Malta that is exclusively dedicated to locally cultivated items and produce. You can buy meat, some fish, vegetables and fruits and other items like bigilla, honey and fresh bread.
This market is near the Ta’ Qali National Park, you will have the chance to shop from nearby farmers selling their freshly preduce items directly to customers at affordable price.
This market only sells local products so this is your opportunity to try their local items, for example, Bigilla (glue made out of beans), gbejniet (Goat’s cheddar), nectar, bread, fish and meat items.
